My friend got a phone delivered but the post office isnt open for two days and that is a huge inconvenience for me and for her. You think we have time for BS? I don't think so pal!!!!
Most days, they try hard, but service is inconsistent. Either understaffed or inefficient (not sure which, maybe both). I would like to suggest they do cross-training/employee exchange with Mundelein USPS office - much better experience anytime I've used that facility. [This post refers to post office counter services, not delivery which has always been great.]
I need to return a replacement item in the box that was sent me and the RMA label was emailed to me. I wasn't sure the appropriate way to attach it to the package so I waited until I got to the post office. The guy behind the counter (one of the only two people I've ever seen working here) tells me I need to read the instructions and affix it to the package and come back. It was only then that I saw I could return it via USPS or FedEx. Happy, helpful, using initiative and quick versus sour, lazy, rude, cheap and depressing....I'll take FedEx any day over the USPS, especially this location!!!
Always polite and friendly here. Why are people so impatient at the post office? Usually when there's a line it's because the customers in front of you are unprepared, and not the employee's fault. Plan ahead and have reasonable expectations (5-10 minutes) and you'll be happy.
Slow working and talkative personnel with no sense of customer service. Laughing with friends and recommending Church service while working. Best example of not what to do at work.
